I've been playing through the Dragon Age series, and I wanted to make a short Flash animation of a character I like a lot! Aveline is just great.

Here's also some old pieces of fanart I never posted here, of Steven Universe and Sense8, two really good TV shows:

Character designs!

I've been working with a group of people on a TV series pitch this year! I've been doing character designs and storyboards/beatboards, so I decided to post a few of them:

Animatic, storyboards and comics

I have a lot of new stuff to post! Here's the animatic for a stop motion short I've been working on:

And here's the beginning of a storyboard I made for class about a year ago, as well as character deigns; I've been turning it into a comic instead, so I won't post the whole thing to avoid spoilers. It's changed quite a bit from the original.

Also: a Homestuck fan comic I made for a Secret Santa art exchange.

More backgrounds

Here are some more painted backgrounds for that adventure game. And also a commission I made, the customer asked for it to be based on the cover of the X-Men: Days of Future Past comic. I love that comic, so it was a very fun commission to do :)

I played a great game called OFF, by indie developer Mortis Ghost, and I loved it! The design specially was really interesting, and I had to make this...
 

A Little Lamb's Big Adventures

This book came out just a few days ago from Nation9! I worked on it all summer, so I'm really glad to see it finally published. It's for sale on Amazon here! I did all the illustrations, the animations, and the lettering. Here are a few samples of the art:

Also, here's couple of illustrations I did recently. The Hansel and Gretel one was a gift for my niece, to use as a notebook cover. The other one I just did for fun. I really enjoyed trying out this style, I should use it more often!

Global Game Jam 2013: Tole tole

Last weekend I participated in this year's Global Game Jam. It was a great experience, and a lot of fun! Our group's game was Tole tole, and I did sprites and the menu illustration for it. I'm really looking forward to doing this again next year!

Character Design

Well, I decided to finally upload some of my class assignments for the last year. Here are some from my Character &  Background Design class.

The first character is from my short. The second batch of characters are from several assignments about robots. The final illustration took me longer to make than it should've, maybe, but I'm really happy with how it came out; it's one of my favourite pieces this year.
